What is Hospitality Assured?

Hospitality Assured promotes and rewards the highest standards of service excellence for organisations in the Hospitality Industry. It sets out what we need to do to achieve exceptional business performance and provide an outstanding customer experience. It aims to be simple and straightforward and is based around continuous improvement.

It is championed by the Hotel and catering International Management Association (HCIMA) and supported by the British Hospitality Association (BHA).

Its all about us doing things better in our business for our customers.
 
Why is this award important to us?

We want to improve our standards and the experience for the customer. Our customers not only include thousands of staff and students year round but also a large number of commercial customers.

Because Hospitality Assured takes our customers opinions into account and considers all aspects of service from their point of view, we can be sure that what we are doing will be the right thing for them.

  
How do we achieve Hospitality Assured recognition?

It’s no easy task to achieve Hospitality Assured recognition. To become Hospitality Assured accredited we will need to be assessed by HCIMA’s Hospitality Assured assessors. We will be assessed in 10 key areas which are made up of 49 key requirements or criteria. The 10 Keys areas are:

4.       Operational Planning
5.       Standards of Practice
6.       Resources (people, equipment, facilities)
7.       Training and Development
8.       Service Delivery
9.       Service Recovery
10.   Customer Satisfaction Improvement
