£300.71 Raised for WaterAid
Accommodation and Hospitality Services held a Bring and Buy sale on April 23rd on the Parade to raise money for WaterAid.
WaterAid’s mission is to overcome poverty by enabling the world’s poorest people to gain access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene education. People made cakes, cookies and jams and brought in all sorts of weird and wonderful things, from dinosaurs to handbags to cat toys!
Everyone was really helpful in setting up the stall and carrying over all the boxes of items. We had a lovely sunny day and the stall on the Parade attracted a lot of interest! We raised a whopping £300 for Wateraid - a really wonderful result.
Thank you to everyone who came and visited the stall and bought or donated items.
